Midsummer Place goes loco for Churros!

The first food operator to open in Midsummer Place’s new Boulevard food court is Churros-Locos.

The popular Mexican dessert parlour has been a favourite with sweet-toothed shoppers before but, after a brief period away, returns to the centre and taken residence in the new look cabins.

Churros-Locos is one of eight street-food eateries that will be joining the first phase of exciting developments for Midsummer Place. Others food eateries that have signed up to the MK’s hottest new street food location include; Souv Lucky Day, Jerk n Rum and Lebanese Grill House.

“It’s great to welcome back the team at Churros-Locos to our new look Boulevard. They have always been a huge favourite with our visitors and to announce they’re open is going to be welcome news to lots of people,” said General Manager at Midsummer Place, Shelley Peppard.

She adds: “The demand for the new food cabins has been unprecedented and we have ensured that each one offers something new and different for our shoppers. We are looking forward to them all opening in the coming months.”

Churros-Locos specialise is the traditional tube-shaped Spanish and Portuguese sweet snack made from choux pastry that are deep-fried in oil and then sprinkled with sugar. There are lots of sauces to accompany the sweet stick and dip to your delight.

The completion of The Boulevard is the first phase in a series of major changes to the centre that will be see new retailers join the scheme and new facilities that will create a completely new environment.
