Charity Christmas Concert at MK Gallery
Musica Charity Choir MK will play the first choral concert in the new MK Gallery Sky Room at 7pm on Wednesday 4th December.
The choir will perform a selection of Christmas favourites to help raise funds for Art and Us – MK Gallery’s programme of artist led activities for families with children with complex needs.
The Sky Room is a state of the art 150 seater auditorium, sitting on the second floor of MK Gallery with views across Campbell Park. As well as the performance, there will also be a raffle.
The choir, led by Ken Story and accompanied by Ed Tomlinson, started performing in December 2018 to support charities and voluntary groups to raise funds. They present thirteen concerts a year and have so far raised over £9,000 for charities across the city.
Taking place every Sunday at MKGallery, Art and Us has supported families from Milton Keynes and beyond to work directly with an artist to explore their creative interests. Families are able to enjoy spending time together in an environment which is creative, accessible, fun and understanding of everyone’s needs.
MK Gallery is an educational charity and All of the proceeds from this concert will go towards supporting this important strand of MK Gallery’s programme.
Tickets are £10 (£5 under 16s) and available from mkgallery.org
