As part of Heritage Open Days, Pen Vogler will be giving a talk about her book "Scoff", a social history of food in Britain. Pen is the author of a number of books including "Dinner with Mr D'Arcy" and "Dinner with Dickens". In "Scoff", she looks at the origins of our eating habits and their links to class prejudice. Copies of her book (in paperback) will be available for purchase. There will also be food for sale from Indian Orchard and The Chocolate Mill MK.
