Redways/ Colourways by The Guild Collective – workshop

Foraging and Natural Dyeing workshop exploring the Redways of Milton Keynes by bike!

We would like to invite you to join artists and dyers Rachel Jones, Katie Ellen Fields and Ciara Callaghan in exploring the dye possibilities presented by the Redway system in Milton Keynes. This time joined by the amazing Nicky Kenny of Pedalling Culture, who will be leading the bike ride!

The 2.5 hour workshop will begin with a foraging cycle, stopping to explore the local flora which grows along the Redways, we will then head back to our central meeting spot to transform these plants into colour through the dyeing process! Each participant will receive a Redways/ Colourways tote bag to dye on the day and will also be part of dyeing a flag which will be exhibited as part of a larger exhibition in September!
