Life Drawing – Level 2

Over the span of five weeks, participants will delve into advanced aspects of life drawing, focusing on facial proportion, enhanced anatomy understanding, and, most crucially, rendering techniques. The sessions are strategically organized to allow participants to progress from one-hour drawings to more intricate two-hour sessions, culminating in a comprehensive 3.5 to 4-hour drawing.

Rather than revisiting basics like gesture, pencil handling and the value system of light (covered in the level one course), this course builds upon that foundation. The emphasis shifts towards rendering and unveiling the surface anatomy of the figure.

The course is structured to enhance drawing skills and elevate participants’ ability to capture the intricate details of the human figure through advanced rendering techniques.
