D-Day 80 Commemoration

The D-Day landings on 6 June 1944 was the largest seaborne invasion in history, which marked the beginning of the liberation of France and western Europe. Join Wolverton and Greenleys Town Council the 6th June 2024 from 19:00 at Milton Keynes Museum, McConnell Drive, Wolverton for an evenings entertainment and the lighting of the beacon to pay tribute to all of those who took part in D-Day, 80 years ago.

The gates open at 7:00pm with food and drink available, and two guest 1930/40’s sings as entertainment. The lighting of the Beacon will take place at 9:15pm.

This event is in partnership with Milton Keynes Museum. Everyone is welcome.
