Beginners Painting: Oils (April)

The course is suitable for all artists of all levels of experience: you can be a complete beginner or an experienced professional who would like to refresh their skills.

This five-week course will give you the opportunity to get too grips with the very versatile and mobile medium of oil paint.

Sometimes you will create test pieces and small studies prior to the main painting. The topics will be varied, some seasonal, still life, as well as exploring other artists techniques and approaches.

You will gain an understanding of traditional oil techniques, for example Impasto, Scumbling, Glazing, Underpainting by the end of the 5 weeks.
