Our popular 'Refreshments in the Courtyard' returns offering delicious homemade cakes with a choice of tea, coffee, herbal tea or juice for only £3.50, which also includes a stroll around our beautiful 18th century, tranquil gardens. (Entry to the Three Hares Gallery is free/ Usual admission applies to the Museum).

Three Hares Gallery – ‘Coast and Country Art Exhibition’ by Amanda Curbishley
3rd – 27th August/ 11.00 am - 4:30 pm (Last admission 3:30pm)/ Free entry to the gallery (please purchase separates tickets to see the museum and gardens). A solo exhibition of marine and landscape art by Amanda – a contemporary artist who works in acrylics and mixed media.

Whilst exploring inside our historic house, see our new temporary exhibition ‘Quackery & Enlightenment – A journey through Georgian medicine’ from which you will discover Scottish physician, William Buchan, who was on a mission to educate the Georgian population on health and the dangers of quack medicine.
