Hats off to new store opening at Midsummer Place

US-based sports retailer Lids opened its doors in Midsummer Place shopping centre, bringing and taste of American apparel to Milton Keynes.

The store showcases an array of products including caps and jerseys from major US leagues and teams, including MLB, NFL and NBA. With nearly 2,000 stores in the US, Lids has become one of the strongest retailers in North America and is now opening more stores across the UK.

The company has already opened stores in The O2, London, Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex and Churchill Square Shopping Centre Russel Place in Brighton.

“We’re delighted to welcome Lids to Midsummer Place and bring a completely new fashion offering to our shopper,” said Shelley Peppard, General Manager at Midsummer Place, the fashion quarter. She adds: “The addition of Lids is the start of an exciting future for the shopping centre that will see further additions open in the coming weeks and months. I wish the team at Lids the greatest success for the future.”

Lids is located opposite Victoria’s Secret in Midsummer Place.
