First ever Student Shopping event to be held at centre:mk

Whether you’re off to University for the first time, getting ready to go back to college or buying for someone who is, don’t miss centre:mk’s first ever student shopping event on Thursday 31^st August, 4pm-8pm to help get everything ready for student life this autumn.

A whole host of the centre’s retailers and restaurants will have fantastic offers, prizes and student discounts, along with goody bags and entertainment throughout centre:mk. Look out for special, one day discounts from fashion retailers including Jigsaw, Ted Baker, Dune and Quiz or for essential stationery and handy items for student survival, visit Typo and Flying Tiger. There are a host of beauty and fragrance offers, as well as a range of offers from their wide food and beverage offering, exclusively for the event.

At the four meeting points in the centre, outside H beauty and Phase Eight on Silbury Arcade or outside Primark and H&M on Midsummer Arcade, a member of staff will greet visitors with a goody bag as well as map of participating stores and offers they can get involved in. Around the centre, there will be entertainment from local artists and performers to keep the mood going for a fun afternoon and evening of shopping.

Centre Director, Kevin Duffy said, “We have been listening to our shoppers who have been asking for us to hold a student event for some time now. We think we have a great mix of retailers who can make shopping as a student, or with a student who may be off to university, a great experience at centre:mk. Along with some delicious food from participating restaurants, I’m sure the event will be a huge success and we are looking forward to it.”
