Woburn Safari Park is celebrating the birth of its first Rothschild giraffe to be born in 2009. This birth signals another major success for the park’s breeding programme of the most endangered of the nine subspecies of giraffe. The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) visits Milton Keynes Theatre from 4 - 8 November with their new production of William Shakespeare’s epic tale of thwarted love, Romeo and Juliet. Featuring a company of 23 actors and a seven-piece live band on stage, this is a boldly theatrical new staging of Shakespeare’s fast-moving story of two teenagers torn apart by their families’ vendetta.
