P19: Portraits in Practice - Evening- 5- week course

This course is suitable for those with some basic drawing skills who want to learn how, or anyone who wishes to improve and develop their portrait painting. This course is for adults 18+

The aim of this exciting Portrait course is to give students opportunity to focus on some of the key challenges faced when painting a portrait and to receive advice and one to one feedback.

Each week we work from a live model will focus on a different element of portraiture to develop your understanding and enhance your technical skills. This will include areas such as:
– Structure and placement of features
– Understanding values in portraiture
– Breaking down the face into shapes
– Expression, feeling and further development.
