Yardley Hastings Open Gardens

On June 28th, Yardley Hastings will be holding its popular biennial Open Gardens event from 11.00am – 5.30pm, in aid of St Andrew’s Church. 14 gardens will be open to delight and inspire – cottage and more formal gardens; established and new planting; and the extensive gardens of the 18th C. Old Rectory. Some are new venues, opening for the first time. For a sneak preview of some of the gardens, visit Love Yardley Hastings Facebook in the run up to the day.

There will also be an opportunity to see inside The Court Parlour (c. 1340), the remains of the Hastings family Manor House and the oldest residential structure in the village, which is not normally open to the public.

As you wander at leisure around this beautiful village, visit Yardley Arts Centre’s free Summer Exhibition featuring contemporary fine art, painting and sculpture. Some of the artists will be working live in various gardens.
