Wolverton Scarecrow Festival

Each year we invite the community – including residents, volunteers, businesses, organisations and schools – to partake in creating scarecrows, placing them in front of their property over the event weekend in September. The aim is for a wonderful community led trail over the weekend in Wolverton.

If you would like take part, please email office@wolvertonandgreenleystowncouncil.gov.uk with your name and the first line of your address, so we can plot your scarecrow on the trail. Enter by noon, Thursday 10th September.

This event is well worth a visit as it shows the talents and diversity of the community and is a lovely day out for families to just take a pleasant stroll around town and see how many you can spot.

Scarecrows will be up across Wolverton over the weekend of 12th and 13th September.

The Community Orchard (alleyway off Woburn Ave, Milton Keynes MK12 5AY) will be hosting their Heritage Day Autumn Celebration between 11:00-17:00 and you can collect a map from here.
