Say it Louder MK - Open Mic Night
Say it Louder MK is back for another Open Mic Night, in a new location, join us in the Bogota Coffee Company at The Hub.
We seek to create a local space that spotlights the thriving creative talent in and around Milton Keynes. Inviting them to take the stage and connect directly with their audience and other artists alike.
Come with your poetry, rap, song or any other spoken word, whether you’re a seasoned performer or a first-time speaker, the mic is yours. Otherwise sit back and enjoy the show!
The evening will be hosted by our founder and resident poet Remi Ajibola and conclude with an amazing performance from our headliner Safia ‘The Rambling Wayfarer’.
Safia Mohamed, also known as The Rambling Wayfarer is a Somali poet, spoken word artist and educator from Milton Keynes. A Roundhouse Slam 2021 finalist and has headlined at multiple venues in London including the Royal Court Theatre.
Expect a night full of well-made drinks and even better performances.
