Olney Riverfest 2026

FREE to attend family event, we will be running the amateur paddleboard (Over 18’s only) and raft race (starts 12.45pm). Whilst you wait for our competitors to arrive at the Recreational Ground Sports Field, East Street, near the banks of the river Great Ouse, you’ll find food vendors, ice cream van, charity, promotional and craft stalls. A small children’s fairground rides and a bar. By popular demand The Great Gappo, with his circus tricks to try out your skills is back this year. In the marquee is where you’ll find the bar and band stage featuring music from noon to 5pm. Midday: Duck Race – The Scouts yellow ducks will race between The weir @ Emberton Country Park to the A509 bridge (note, this is in a separate location to Riverfest finish field). Dogs welcome on leads. If coming by car, please park considerately with our neighbours. Parking charges apply at Emberton Country Park.
