Milton Keynes Hospital Radio is opening its doors for a rare behind-the-scenes look at a station that has been part of the hospital community for more than forty years. Usually closed to the public, our studios will be accessible exclusively for Heritage Open Days, offering visitors an insight into a broadcasting world normally heard but not seen.

Throughout the day, our volunteer team, who run every aspect of the station, will guide visitors through the space where programmes are created, music is selected, and patient requests come to life. Visitors will learn how the station began, how it has adapted to changing technology, and how a dedicated group of volunteers continue to keep it running.
