EP2: Experimental Printmaking- 10-week course

This course offers a supportive environment for beginners and for those wishing to expand their existing practice through a range of printmaking techniques. Over 10 weeks, you will explore three core processes, collograph, lino printing, and intaglio experimenting with how they can be mixed, layered, and adapted as you develop your own designs and imagery. The emphasis is on exploration, testing ideas, and building confidence with tools, materials, and methods.

What you will learn:
Multiple‑colour lino printing using a key block
Creating and carving lino blocks
Registering prints accurately
Building collograph plates from textured and recycled materials
Understanding, mixing, and applying inks
Etching acrylic plates to create intaglio printing matrices
Combining and overlaying techniques to enhance depth, colour, and texture.

Course will run every Tuesday from 2nd June to 4th August.
