MK Fringe Festival has announced its latest Digital Showcase, inviting artists, performers and creative practitioners to submit work for the opportunity to become part of the festival’s growing programme of innovative and independent arts.
The festival is seeking submissions from creatives working across all disciplines, including visual arts, performance, theatre, music, film, spoken word, digital media, installation, photography, dance, design and interdisciplinary practice. Whether emerging or established, artists are encouraged to share bold ideas and original work that reflects the diversity and creativity of the region’s thriving cultural community.
The Digital Showcase continues MK Fringe Festival’s commitment to championing independent artists and creating opportunities for new voices to be seen, heard and celebrated. As the festival continues to grow, it remains dedicated to showcasing exciting work in unexpected spaces, bringing contemporary arts experiences to audiences across Milton Keynes and beyond.
Festival organisers are encouraging creatives from Milton Keynes to submit work for their free digital showcase, welcoming projects at various stages of development where appropriate. The aim is to showcase local talent that reflects the breadth of contemporary creative practice while fostering collaboration, experimentation and community engagement.
“MK Fringe has always been about providing a platform for artists to take creative risks and connect with new audiences,” said Creative Director, Jay Virgo. “We’re excited to discover fresh ideas, celebrate local talent, and welcome artists who want to be part of an ambitious, artist-led initiative.”
Full submission details, eligibility information and application guidance are available via MK Fringe Festival’s Instagram, where artists can find everything they need to apply. Applications are now open for a limited time, and early submissions are encouraged.
