A spectacular festival, set to light up Milton Keynes this winter, has been opened by the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Paul Trendall.
Following the success of the event for the last four years, the Land of Lights festival, held at Gulliver’s Resort in Milton Keynes, has returned with a brand-new look and theme.
Thousands of people have snapped up tickets for the highly anticipated festival which is now open and runs on selected dates until the end of February 2027.
Land of Lights features a one-mile route, covering 12 dreamworlds and featuring an array of incredible dinosaurs, all under the theme of ‘magic’, with glowing trails and fantastic scenes to light up the dark winter nights. There will also be music, entertainment, and street food for the thousands of visitors expected this year.
Darren Hoy, Land of Lights Festival Manager, said: “Thank you to Mayor and Mayoress Trendall for opening Land of Lights 2026 in style! We’re delighted to be welcoming guests back to the festival for another unforgettable season in 2026. Every year we look to build on the success of the festival, and this year’s event will feature even more spectacular illuminated displays, immersive experiences and memorable moments for visitors of all ages.
“Land of Lights has become a much-loved winter attraction, bringing families and friends together while also supporting the local economy during the colder months. Since launching, the festival has continued to grow in popularity, and we’re proud to offer an experience that gives people a truly magical reason to get out and create lasting memories together.”
