Semi Final Match Day Travel
There is a national rail strike on the day of semi-final in Milton Keynes, so travelling to the match by train will not be possible. Please check the alternative options below.
Please plan your journey carefully and with plenty of time to spare so you can enjoy the footie to the max without having to worry about getting to the stadium in time.
Gates for this match will exceptionally open at 17:30, and with the Fan Party in full swing from 12 noon, there are plenty of reasons to make your way to Milton Keynes early!
MATCH DAY TRAVEL OPTIONS – DOWNLOAD ACCESS MAP
Option 1 | Matchday Shuttle Bus
The shuttle bus service is the quickest and easiest way to travel from the city centre to the stadium and back after the match. Pre-booking is highly recommended!
PLEASE NOTE: The Shuttle Bus service DOES NOT include parking costs. Parking within the city centre is widely available – see more information below.
Journey time: 20 minutes
Return tickets: £5 (adults) / £2.50 (children), plus booking fees
Option 2 | By Car
Do not drive to the stadium as Stadium MK has NO on-site parking available and you will be asked to turn around. Parking is widely available in the city centre where you can then use the dedicated shuttle bus service or at the National Bowl.
From the city centre car parks, hop on the shuttle bus at the Fan Party to the stadium drop off point, then it’s just a short 10 min walk – pre-booking strongly recommended, see above.
From the National Bowl car park, it’s at least a 40-minute walk to the stadium gates. £5 per car.
Option 3 | By coach
Travelling from London? National Express have put on a bespoke service from London Victoria Coach Station straight to Stadium MK, so take advantage! After the final whistle, simply board your return coach right at the stadium for a worry-free journey back home.
There is loads of car parking available in central Milton Keynes which is the best option for parking on matchdays. There is a charge for parking in the city centre but rates are kept simple. Higher tariff bays are easy to recognise by their red stripe and cost £2 per hour, with lower tariff bays marked with a purple stripe and charged at 50p per hour. Payment is made by mobile, credit or debit cards using the RingGo app.
Car parking spaces are available close to the Station Square Fan Party and the Stadium MK Shuttle Bus.
