A Festival of Creative Urban Living

A Festival of Creative Urban Living
A Festival of Creative Urban Living is MK's biennial festival uniting the worlds of art, architecture, design and digital. The inaugural Festival took place in 2019 conceived and curated by Berlin architectural practice raumlaborberlin (www.raumlabor.net) entitled ‘The Built, The Unbuilt and The Unbuildable’ – encouraging a debate and dialogue around the founding design principles of MK, whilst exploring and challenging the city’s future design. Through a free public programme of new commissions, exhibitions, conferences and participatory programmes, the festival includes contributions from a diverse range of artists, creatives, architects, designers, urban planners, urban theorists and cultural organisations.
