Volunteer at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 in Milton Keynes
A volunteer recruitment programme has been launched for local people in MK to become the face of the Women’s EURO 2022 in Milton Keynes next summer.
Milton Keynes is proud to be hosting four games including a semi-final in what’s expected to be a record-breaking tournament for women’s football, and we’ll need a squad of enthusiastic volunteers to help deliver it.
Volunteers will help in a range of roles in the city centre, at our fan zone and around MK’s transport hubs, playing a crucial role in creating our tournament atmosphere and assisting fans from across Europe find their way around the city.
Whether it’s to gain or share your experience, see the event from a different perspective, or simply enjoy the feeling of helping out and making people’s day, there’s loads of reasons to apply to be a volunteer at this major tournament coming to Milton Keynes.
Volunteers are crucial for spreading the excitement, building the atmosphere and providing a positive experience to enhance the matchday for spectators at the tournament.
Cllr Jane Carr, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Sport at MK Council said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for local people to be at the heart of what we hope will be a record-breaking tournament for women’s football. Milton Keynes is proud to be involved so please volunteer if you can and help make next summer’s games really special!”
Applications to be part of UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 volunteer programme opened on Tuesday 28 September 2021 and will close on Monday 1 November 2021 at 3pm.
