Kobe to launch first SPEAKEASY night at Xscape MK

Since launching in April, Kobe at Xscape Milton Keynes has fast become a firm favourite with the foodies of Milton Keynes and beyond. The top quality steak coupled with legendary club brand, Ultra Vegas on Friday and Saturday nights has proven to be a recipe for success and now the owners are ready to add more strings to their bow this July.

First up is the launch of ‘Speakeasy @ Kobe’ where some of the area’s most popular jazz bands, artists and musicians are lined up to perform at the stylish venue in a new mid-week event.

Owner Razvan Marcu tells us more, “Weekends at Kobe are going very well and attract lovers of club music, which is fantastic, and we are now ready to extend our offering to a wider audience. We want everyone to come and enjoy what Kobe has to offer! The Speakeasies of the 1920s were renowned for being opulent, fun places with lively jazz bands and of course, cocktails galore. They have made a huge comeback in London 100 years on and so we wanted to be the first venue in Milton Keynes to host a Speakeasy style night for our clientele. What could be nicer than eating superb steak in stunning surroundings, sipping on champagne and cocktails and listening to some live jazz!”

The second announcement is that Kobe will be opening at lunchtime from mid-July and launching a new menu.

“We will be emulating several of the most popular dishes from the menu at our sister restaurant, French Affaire in Stony Stratford. These have been tried and tested over the last few years and so we are confident that our clientele at Kobe will enjoy our signature croques, salads and other fresh, healthy and delicious dishes” explains Razvan.
