Twelfth Night at The Arches Theatre

We are delighted to have the incredible Wet Mariners back on our outdoor stage for the fourth year running on 21st August! They have certainly become firm favourites at The Arches. In their own words, The Wet Mariners are: “A Shakespeare theatre troupe that pop up in the countryside to mess around with the audience and tell stories. Actor led, no director, just words and play.”

This year they are performing Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’ – a hilarious yet heart-breaking tale.

Twins Viola and Sebastian are separated following a shipwreck and are forced to survive alone on a new land. Filled with intertwining plots and a whirlwind of mistaken identity and unrequited love, this fast-paced romantic play is just perfect for this professional troupe.
