The Lodestone Poets at MK Lit Fest

The Lodestone Poets were founded in 2017to create a space for established and emerging writers to come together and perform. They now return to MK LIt Fest, bringing three fresh poetic voices whose work is gathering praise, prizes and critical acclaim.

Victoria Adukwei Bulley's debut collection, Quiet [Faber 2022], circles around ideas of black interiority, intimacy and selfhood.

Mark Pajak has won the Bridport Prize and been in the National Poetry Competition’s winners three times. His first full collection, Slide, is published with Cape.

Gita Ralleigh is a writer, poet and doctor born to Indian immigrant parents. Her second pamphlet, Siren [Broken Sleep Books], was published in August 2022. A London Library Emerging Writer for 2022-2023, she teaches creative writing at Imperial College.

Both Mark and VIctoria have been shortlisted for the TS Eliot Prize, to be awarded in January 2023.
