Stories on the Plate // Community Art Project

Calling workshop participants for the delicious gatherings! Tayeb طيب is a pilot project aiming to empower sisterhood and friendship amongst members of diverse communities, especially refugee women, who went through isolation over the pandemic. This community-oriented project pays attention to women's significant roles in refugee/migrant families, often overlooked and trivialised even though their power of friendship is fundamental for making a new home and resilient survival.

Inviting 10-12 participants based in Milton Keynes, the commissioned artists will create a recipe book which will be displayed at Art in the Park, 2022.

* Dates: 21/22/28/29 March, 2022
* Meetings at Melis Restaurant and Milton Keynes College, Chaffron Way
* £20 ASDA supermarket voucher per participant (on completion of project!)
* Children are welcome!
