Railway Cottages Talk & Walk

A talk by current members of Rainbow Housing Co-operative about the history of the street and its present day use, followed by a walk around the outside of the buildings. When Wolverton Works was set up, LNWR in effect created a small new town with cottages for the workers. By the 1970s these had fallen into disrepair and were demolished. The exception was Spencer Street, which set up as a housing co-operative. Forty years later, the co-op continues to flourish!
