We're holding a special, non-ridden event on Sunday 30 May, giving children the chance to get up close to our ponies and find out more about what they like to eat... Do horses like celery? Are carrots the ponies’ favourite food? Do they eat lemons?
A great opportunity for families to get outside, get hands-on & learn more about the sorts of food horses and ponies eat & how to feed them.
Children will explore our Pony Treat Trail on foot, completing our nature-based quiz, whilst gathering treats for our ponies to try. At the end of the Trail children will meet some of our ponies and they can explore which of the tasty snacks they’ve collected are the ponies’ favourites.
