Issues of climate change and the environment have never been more critical or urgent. Working with Poets For The Planet, we've invited poet alumni of Lit Fest and our friends at The Lodestone Poets to take part as we host an event that will help to raise the collective voice of the poetry community in concern, alarm and protest.
Poets taking part include: Hawthornden, Polari and Ledbury Forte Poetry Prize winner John McCullough; poet, academic, curator and magazine director Aviva Dautch; poet, novelist and Writers Rebel website editor Toby Litt; legendary performance poet Attila the Stockbroker; LGBT performance poet, novelist, editor and broadcaster Sophia Blackwell; poet, playwright, novelist, librettist, and lecturer Glyn Maxwell, poet and writing workshop leader Caroline Davies, and poet on training wheels and overall winner of the MK Parks Trust 2022 Poetry competition, Mike Geaney.
