For its spring concert on March 21, The Open University Choir will perform renowned Welsh composer Karl Jenkins's Requiem, marking the composer's 80th birthday. The Choir will be accompanied by the Cantoribus Ensemble and conducted by Dennis Pim.

Sir Karl Jenkins's Requiem is a tuneful and accessible work which, like many of his other choral works, includes material from other cultures, in this case a set of five Japanese haiku ‘death’ poems, along with the traditional Latin texts. Solemn, exciting and moving in equal measure, the Requiem is now one of Jenkins’s more popular choral works.

Admission to the concert is free and open to all. The venue is accessible and there is ample free parking. Tickets can be booked in advance at:
