The Open University Choir continues its 2022/23 season with a spring concert of choral-orchestral music which features as its main work the Mass in B flat, Op. 77 by Johann Nepomuk Hummel. The other choral work in the programme will be Beethoven’s short Elegiac Song, and the concert is completed by the first performance of an orchestral piece by the OU Choir’s musical director, Bill Strang. The Open University Choir is accompanied in the concert by the Cantoribus Ensemble.
The concert will take place on Thursday 23 March at 1pm in the Hub Theatre on the Open University’s Walton Hall campus. Admission to the concert is free and open to all. Advance ticket bookings can be made at:
