Did you know most bee species found in the UK are solitary, meaning the female cares for its own nest, they account for over 200 species in the UK? - and that’s not including the humble bumblebees!
Join entomologist and wild bee specialist Rory Dimond for what promises to be a fascinating talk and workshop on all things pollinating insects. Maybe you are just curious about the insects buzzing around each summer; want to know which species likes to mine in the walls of our 17th century barn, (just us?) or how you can encourage your own gardens and outdoor spaces to be more pollinator friendly, then this event is for you.
*Go to Open Garden Volunteering Summer 2023 to register your interest and get a discount code for the talk!
Families Welcome: Children must be 7+ and accompanied by a supervising adult at all times (please book one ticket for each person attending).
