Love Nature Day

Join us and some local nature groups for an afternoon of fun as we celebrate the natural world on Saturday 2nd July from 11am to 4pm at Howe Park Wood. There will be lots of activities that will bring you up close to nature and a chance to find out more about how you can help wildlife at home. Meet local volunteers passionate about moths, swifts and bats. Enjoy bug hunting and pond dipping with our Outdoor Learning Team and guided walks with our rangers.

Discover more about the ancient woodland of Howe Park Wood, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), that has more than 200 plant species and is home to 30 different species of butterfly, and a variety of birds.
