Get even closer to the past, with the return of the History Festival at Milton Keynes Museum, spanning nearly 2,000 years of history in one weekend!
Wander around the tent village set up in the Museum grounds and travel back in time to meet Romans, Vikings, Tudors, Civil War Soldiers, Suffragettes and many more!
Nearly 100 re-enactors will be roaming around the Museum throughout the weekend ready to answer your burning questions about life in the past.
There will also be combat displays and show and tell presentations where you can learn about key moments from British history in a fun and engaging way.
There’s plenty at the museum to enjoy a full day out, don’t miss visiting the Victorian Farmhouse, buy some sweets from the old Post Office in the Street of Shops and drop by the Telephone Gallery to make a call.
