Join us on for a special evening on Thursday 2nd November at 6.30pm as we welcome, all the way from Canada, Associate Professor Jason Bell. He will be joining us to talk about his thrilling new book, Cracking the Nazi Code.
Cracking the Nazi Code is the untold story of the greatest spy of the 20th Century.

The Englishman Alan Turing's use of computer-aided mathematics to break the Nazi's World War Two cypher has become famous. But decades earlier, Dr Winthrop Bell, a British subject, Canadian philosopher, historian and MI6 spy, was the first to crack the Nazi code. His death-defying adventures in revolutionary 1919 Berlin were long kept top-secret and his story has remained unknown. Finally his declassified papers reveal how he used the humanities to save humanity.

Professor Bell will be giving a presentation about this remarkable historical figure, and this will be followed by an audience Q and A. His book will be available to purchase and he will be signing and dedicating copies.
