Creative Summer: Flag Making Workshop with Kyle Kirkpatrick
Wednesday 9th August
10.00 AM -12.30PM
Suitable for 7-12 year olds*
During this workshop artist Kyle Kirkpatrick will guide participants to design and paint bespoke hand-held fabric flags or banners. Passionate about the arts? the environment? Or something else…participants will be supported to adorn their flag with a topic of their choice. The material will be prepared in advance by the artist to ensure everyone goes home with a quality artwork. Temporarily install your flag at the Arts Centre for a photo opportunity, before being able to take them home it the end of the session.
Participants who joined Kyle’s sculpture workshop on the 2nd of August will be able to build on these design ideas if they like.
A soft drink and healthy snack will be provided at breaktime.
(*Children can be dropped off and do not need to be accompanied by an adult.)
