Join one of our collections experts for this special "Behind the Scenes" event as we reveal pages from John Newton’s books and manuscripts not normally on show to the public. Handle some books, take a look at his handwriting and learn more about his passion for Polly.

Places are very limited to please book by either visiting the museum shop or by emailing [email protected]. The cost is £3 in addition to standard admission.

This special event takes place in the Three Hares Gallery, where you will also have the opportunity to see contemporary artwork by Jenna Brasier.
