Woughton-on-the-Green Sports Pavilion is the largest multi-sport site in Milton Keynes, located in one of the Borough’s original villages. It is also home to Milton Keynes Hockey Club, an established and thriving hockey club. As the premier hockey club in North Buckinghamshire the club is proud of its facilities.
Prior to the completion of the National Hockey Stadium, Woughton Sports Pavilion had been used for hosting a large number of televised international hockey matches. It has also been used as a support training facility for all teams at Junior World Cup for hockey, hosting of Rugby League amateur 7-a-side finals (64 teams) on a regular basis and hosting of English Schools Lacrosse finals.
Woughton-on-the-Green has two floodlit water-based synthetic Astro Turf pitches over an area of 12,000m², six full-size tennis courts, three hard courts and three Astro Turf courts. The pavilion also has a large area of playing fields which can provide six full-size football pitches, as well as two cricket squares.
