With over 200 miles of safe cycle paths stretching right across Milton Keynes, strapping on your helmet and pedalling away couldn’t be easier. The extensive Redways keep you well away from busy major roads, making them ideal for children or novice cyclists looking to build their confidence.
If you don’t want to bring your own bike, then there are hire schemes available for visitors and locals alike. Santander Cycles MK Hire Scheme has over 500 bikes across 50 locations. You can also hire a Lime Bike or an electric Lime Scooter, the only city outside of London to feature the scheme.

Lime Bikes & e-Scooters
Milton Keynes is working with operator Lime on a dockless e-bike and e-scooter rental scheme for the city. Vehicles can be hired through the Lime app that is available on the Apple or Google Play store.
