The Languages:MK Show

Venue: Bletchley, MK
Date: 30 Jun 2018
Times: 10 amn - 2 pm

The Languages:MK Show is now in its third year. It is a free event designed to promote language learning and foster linguistic and cultural diversity in Milton Keynes.  It is organised by Community Learning MK in collaboration with The Open University and the Institute of Translators and Interpreters.

This year’s show will be taking place at Rivers Centre, Bletchley on Saturday 30th June from 10am until 2pm. The programme includes languages taster lessons in various languages, opportunities for language practice in the languages café and professional development sessions for those who use languages in their work.  There will also be a range of cultural items presented by local schools between 11am and 1pm. We have invited the Mayor, Councillor Zoe Nolan and Iain Stewart MP to attend and speak at the event.

Further information about the show is available on the Languages:MK website:  www.open.ac.uk/languages-mk.
