Follow our Easter Trail to win a chocolate treat.

Volunteer Task - Millennium Country Park

Meet at the Barn in the Forest Centre car park at 10am and make sure you wear old, warm clothes and strong footwear. tools and info provided. Tea and biscuits available, but if you're staying all day bring a packed lunch.

Spring Migrants Bird Walk

>From Warblers to Winchats
A walk led by our expert Volunteers - spotting the visiting spring migrants of the Millennium Country Park, like willow warblers, wheatears, chiff chaffs and winchats. Giant Nest Building 
Wednesday 11 April    9.45am to 3pm
Kids' Outdoor Adventure
A walk up to the willow huts where we’ll be building some giant nests in the woodland. Find out how hard birds must work to build their nests and what materials they use. Wear waterproof boots and warm clothes. 3 Sessions: 9.45am, 11.30am, 1.45pm

Brass Band Concert
Saturday 21 April    7.30pm to 10pm.
A Night of Swing
The award winning Hitchin Brass Band return for their Annual Spring extravaganza, in aid of the Tibbs Dementia Foundation, with Musical Director Graham Chambers.

Pamper Evening
Friday 27 April    6pm to 11pm
A glass of prosecco on arrival and  an evening of pampering and relaxation. With stalls offering a variety of treatments from massages, to manicures; tarot readings to eyebrow threading. You can pre-book sessions with most therapists, but if you'd prefer to make your choice on the evening then be aware that some things may be booked up!

Ed Sheeran Tribute

Dan East is the closest thing you can get to the real Ed!  Tickets £15 - book at  www.marstonvale.org or in person at Reception.

Dawn Chorus Bird Walk
Saturday 5 May    4.30am to 7.30am
We'll be looking and listening out for black caps, nightingales, song thrushes, terns, warblers and (hopefully) turtle doves on this guided walk around the Millennium Country Park. Afterwards, we'll stop in the Lakeside Cafe for a cooked breakfast, included in the price. Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather and wear waterproof shoes or boots - unfortunately no dogs are allowed. Booking essential at

Dawn Chorus Bird Walk for Late Risers

A slightly later alternative to our Dawn Chorus Walk. We'll be looking and listening out for black caps, nightingales, song thrushes, terns, warblers and (hopefully) turtle doves on this guided walk around the Millennium Country Park. Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather and wear waterproof shoes or boots - unfortunately no dogs are allowed. £4 per person . Please note, this does not include breakfast.

Evening Wildlife Walk
Friday 25 May    7.30pm to 10.30pm
A guided walk led by our team of expert Volunteers - looking out for the owls and bats, with some small mammal trapping on the Wetlands looking for wood mice and bank voles. We'll be keeping an ear out - who knows what we might find! Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather and wear waterproof shoes or boots - unfortunately no dogs are allowed. We can provide torches but if you have your own, bring it along! £4 per person

Dipping & Underwater Bingo
Wednesday 30 May    9.45am to 3pm
An Event for Kids

Find out who’s living in the pond then create and play “underwater bingo”. All equipment will be provided to have a go at pond dipping followed by an indoor craft session. Waterproof boots and clothing not required unless it is raining  Duration: 1 ¼ hours
