Summer Wildlife Walk
Saturday 9 June    9.30am to 12.30pm
Now that spring has officially sprung the Park is changing - orchids are flowering and butterflies and dragonflies are everywhere!  Our expert volunteers take you on a guided walk around the Millennium Country Park to spot and identify some of the amazing wildlife that we see at this time of year. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring a hat/sun cream if it's sunny.. Sorry no dogs. £4 per person.

Summer Barbecue & Practical Tasks
Meet at the Barn in the Forest Centre car park at 10am and make sure you wear old, warm clothes and strong footwear. tools and info provided.

Marvellous Meadows Walk
Sunday 30 June    11am to 1pm
In honour of National Meadows Day (which is the first Sat in July - we're a bit early!) our expert volunteers will be leading this walk around the meadows of the Millennium Country Park to spot birdsfoot trefoil, oxeye daisy and the other stunning flowers that are out at this time of year. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring a hat/sun cream if it's  sunny.  Sorry no dogs.  £4 per person

Neil Diamond Tribute
20 July    7pm to 10pm
Bob Drury has taken his show 'The Neil Diamond Story' all over the world, and has even performed in Tennessee for the Official Fan Club. His husky voice will be performing all of the crooners classics, from Cracklin' Rosie to Sweet Caroline.
Doors 7pm  Show start 8pm approx (with a 30 minute interval)
Food served from 7pm - 8pm

Marston Mud Outdoor Adventure
Thursday 25 July    9.45am to 3pm
An event for children
This popular event is back so it’s time to get messy with mud!  A walk to the willow huts to make mud creatures in the trees. Marston mud is perfect for creating mud faces, monsters, animals…well, anything you like.  Wear old clothes and be prepared to get messy.

Pond Dipping and Underwater Bingo
Wednesday 1 August    9.45am to 3pm
Find out who’s living in the pond then create and play “underwater bingo”. Equipment provided to have a go at pond dipping followed by an indoor craft session.
Waterproof boots and clothing not required unless it is raining!

Dragonfly Safari
Tuesday 7 August    9.45am to 3pm
Outdoor Adventure
Join us on a search for dragonflies in the Country Park.  Find out what other minibeasts live in the Park and make your own dragonfly to take home.  Wear long trousers and avoid open toed sandals. Sunhats and sunblock at the ready!
3 sessions - 9.45am, 11.30am and 1.45pm

Wild Art in the Woods
Thursday 9th August  9.45am to 3pm
Outdoor Craft Session
A fun and creative outdoor session using natural materials to print and paint, build and stick “woodland windows” and country park pictures. It will be messy. There will be a short walk from the Forest Centre up to the woodland area. Sunhats and sunblock at the ready.
3 sessions - 9.45am, 11.30am and 1.45pm

Pond Dipping and Underwater Bingo
Wednesday 15 August    9.45am to 3pm
