Traditional village Church fete off to a flying start in 800th Anniversary celebrations

With a flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster scheduled during the afternoon, this celebration fete centred on All Saints’ Church in Loughton on Saturday 9 June 2018, is sure to attract a wide range of visitors. Open from 12.00 – 4.00pm, the fete includes stalls and activities for everyone.

There will be craft stalls, including jewellery and textiles, a china and glass stall, games for children, a story teller, Morris dancing by Rapskallian, with a BBQ and other refreshments in the church. There will also be a display of artwork on the theme of ‘Loughton’ from local school children, together with baking, knitting and sewing competitions judged by members of Loughton WI.
