IF Milton KeynesIF: Milton Keynes International Festival - 20 to 29 July

Giant insects stalking the city streets…an immersive night-time adventure in the woods…a Circus Hub in an iconic shopping centre…a new composition for multiple bicycle bells… a political ghost train ride…

From 20 to 29 July, IF: Milton Keynes International Festival will transform the physical spaces of Milton Keynes and invite people to see a different side of the city with 10 days of new outdoor theatre, large and small-scale performance, circus, stand-up comedy, live music, family activities and free events.

Beach at centre:mk - 4 August to 2 September - FREE

The beach is back at centre:mk's Middleton Hall for 2018! Middleton Hall will be filled with 100 tonnes of  sand as far as the eye can see.

You'll be able to enjoy candy floss, gelato and hot drinks from one of the lovely kiosks. There will be a carousel, fairground rides, inflatables and other fun rides (some charges apply).

Whatever the weather does this summer, you can still go to the beach!

Xscape Milton KeynesSurvive the Summer at Xscape - 4 to 26 August

Time to Xscape for the school holidays and ‘Survive the Summer!’ This year, Xscape MK has a programme of exciting and engaging activities lined up throughout the summer holidays to help keep the whole family happy.

Xscape to the jungle every weekend in August with amazing, free, themed activities starting with a Lego workshop where you can create your own jungle creature to take home, or maybe pit your wits and test your nerve against their exclusive ‘Bush Tucker Trials’ to win stars and prizes. The second half of August sees giant ‘Hungry Hippos’ arrive where you get to be the hippos and challenge your friends or family. Then on Bank Holiday weekend, you can see the summer out in style as they throw a Jungle Party with live music.

Big Bug Tour at intu Milton Keynes - 31 July to 28 August

Have you ever wondered what tiny little insects look like up close? Well here’s your chance as intu Milton Keynes gets set to bring the outdoors indoors this summer!

12 giant, intricately-designed and extremely lifelike bugs are coming to intu Milton Keynes. From honey bees to ladybirds, you’ll have the chance to examine these creatures up close. Frosts Garden CentreLand of Fairies & Dragons at Frosts - until 2nd September

This summer Frosts Garden Centre (Woburn Sands) invites you to visit their very own Land of Fairies and Dragons. Step into a magical realm and you will be transported into a world of wonder and awe! Settle down with Fairy Queen Amaryllis, who will tell you the story of how the Flower Fairies came to live with the Proud Frosts Dragons. Explore the Enchanted Forest with its hidden fairy doors and wishing well, with lots of activities along the way!

MK Dons FC - Holiday courses

MK Dons SET offers summer holiday courses for both boys and girls to enjoy physical activity during the school holidays. Bletchley Park Chess & Challenges Family Activiteis - 31 July to 30 August
Tuesdays and Thursdays
Did you know that many of the Bletchley Park codebreakers enjoyed puzzles and games in their free time? Hugh Alexander was an International Chess Master, Joan Clarke was good at maths puzzles, Dilly Knox told riddles and Bill Tutte enjoyed playing Mastermind. Alan Turing even played Monopoly on a specially designed board – and lost! Find out what the codebreakers got up to in their spare time, play some games, make your own and challenge your friends and family! These activities are included with admission. Suitable for families with children aged 5-14 years of age. Children should be supervised by their parents/carers at all times.

360 Play

Milton Keynes’ favourite children’s play centre offers a fun, active day out for children aged 2 to 12, and their families, and even the most demanding of youngsters will be kept occupied for hours with both indoor and outdoor activities.

Loyalty Cards
If you're visiting 360 Play this month then why not take advantage of our entrance loyalty card? Collect a stamp for each paying person every time you visit 360 Play and when your card is full you can bring your friends along for free! Collect 16 stamps to receive a Day Pass for 4 people! Out & About
The 360 Play Team and our mascots, Twizzle and Twirl, love getting out and about and meeting people at events. From 1st June until 2nd September, if you are at an event and spot them have your photo taken with them and upload them here to our Facebook page to enter into our prize draw! Each week we will be giving away a Day Pass and one lucky winner each month will win a Quarterly Play Pass.

Milton Keynes Museum

A host of special summer activities will be on offer as Milton Keynes Museum moves into school holiday mode. Always a good option for keeping the kids entertained, the museum was recently named in the UK’s top 20 most family friendly museums from more than 800 nominations. The award is based on the Museum’s interactivity. We positively encourage our visitors to touch things and try them out – especially in the Connected Earth gallery, which is always a big hit with children. Admission is a reasonable £26 for a family ticket giving entry to two adults and up to four children plus you can then visit as many times as you want during the next 12 months. And you’ll be able to feed the whole family on freshly made sandwiches, homemade cake, and a drink, for less than a fiver a head.
