Willen Lake

The lake to the south is where you’ll find all the water sports and activities, including Treetop Extreme, the county’s only urban high ropes course, one of the UK’s largest outdoor splash park Splash ‘n’ Play, the wake boarding centre and the watersports hub where you can learn a whole host of sports such as canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking plus many more. If adrenaline sports aren’t your thing you can simply take a pedalo out onto the lake and enjoy a leisurely sail.

The south lake is also home to the play area. This play area is open throughout the year and can be used by children of all ages. If you’re into your fitness you’ll also find outdoor gym equipment dotted around the lake, the Trim Trails are perfect for getting some exercise in the fresh air and are free to use!

You can also take a stroll around the quieter northern lake and immerse yourself in art, culture and wildlife. Here you’ll be able to find the labyrinth maze, visit the peace pagoda, the first of its kind in the western hemisphere or see if you can spot the wildlife that call this lake home.
