Here are our suggested itineraries to enable you to make the most of your visit to Milton Keynes. Remember these are only our suggestions - many people pick and choose their own particular interests from these itineraries.

Going for the day ...

Start bright and early with a visit to Milton Keynes Gallery to see the latest in travelling contemporary art. Then have a wander around the city centre and Campbell Park, discovering some of the many wonderful sculptures on display. On to lunch at Wagamama’s in thecentre:mk for a real taste of Asia or to the Jaipur for a sensational Indian meal, and then a visit to Milton Keynes Museum in the afternoon. Why not end the day by taking in a show at Milton Keynes Theatre followed by dinner at one of the many restaurants within the Theatre District?

Staying for the weekend ...

After staying at one of the many hotels in the Milton Keynes area, begin your Sunday with a stroll along the Grand Union Canal before going on to Woburn Village for a spot of lunch in one of the traditional English pubs. Spend the afternoon at Woburn Abbey soaking up some history at this elegant country house estate.

Staying for longer ...

If you’re staying for longer don’t forget a visit to Bletchley Park, home of the famous World War II codebreakers, and take a day trip to the historic town of Olney, visiting the spectacular church and the Cowper & Newton Museum.
