Going for the day ...
Start the day with a free visit to one of the exhibitions at Milton Keynes Gallery and then on to a spot of retail therapy at thecentre:mk and Midsummer Place. After lunch at Metro’s Brasserie in the Theatre District, you could take in a matinee performance of one of the shows at Milton Keynes Theatre, many of which have come straight from London’s West End. Why not finish the day with a glow-bowling session at Mid City Lanes in Xscape?

Staying for the weekend ...
If you’re lucky you may visit when Milton Keynes Bowl is hosting a major concert - Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi and Take That have all performed here recently. If not, you can always catch some fantastic live music every night at The Stables theatre, and many of the local pubs and clubs also offer great live music and entertainment. 

Staying for longer ...
You can take in a film at one of the two multi-screen cinemas, laugh yourself silly at the comedy nights at City Limits, or try ice-skating at Planet Ice. Or why not hits some of the many pubs and clubs within the city centre. Middleton Hall in thecentre:mk hosts various exhibitions throughout the year including wedding and antiques fairs, a motor show, and the legendary Collectormania for fans of cult television and film.
