This summer, Xscape Milton Keynes is asking you to ditch the device, shut down your screens and join the region’s ultimate entertainment destination for an active summer of family fun with Xscape Unplugged.
During July and August, Xscape MK will be offering visitors a digital detox, with a variety of family-fun activities to enjoy.
Kicking off on Friday 10 July, visitors to the mall will be greeted by an Unplugged check-in point, encouraging families to put down their smartphones and spend quality time together.
What’s more, visitors will have the chance to win a £500 Xscape Gift card by having their photo taken for the giant ‘Book of Faces’ that will feature in the mall throughout Xscape Unplugged.
There’s also the chance to enjoy music every Friday in the mall and at The Casino MK in the evening, giant board games and arts and crafts for all ages, plus an innovative pedal powered cinema coming to Xscape MK in August.
Snozone is hosting a fun packed family event on Saturday 11 July, 11am - 4pm. Children can see Peppa Pig at intervals throughout the day, with free entertainment including circus workshops, Xscape’s only indoor soft play area and a special visit from Snozone’s snow queen plus fantastic family offers on the indoor real snow slopes.
“Throughout July and August we’ve got a whole host of offers available to help families ditch their devices and try new a new and exciting activity. Whether it’s sledging, skiing or snowboarding, there’s something for everyone” said Elena Kale, group commercial manager at Snozone.
Speaking of Xscape Unplugged, Ross Jordon, general manager of Xscape Milton Keynes said: “In today’s digital age, we’re all guilty of being glued to our smartphones and tablets; could you imagine going a whole day without trawling through Facebook, sending a Tweet or checking to see if an email has come in?”
“Xscape Unplugged is a chance for families to go gadget free and spend some quality time together, without any technology!”
