Vagabond Film Festival launches on Thursday 26th July

Vagabond Film FestivalOn Thursday an inflatable Cinema Dome will magically appear at IF: Milton Keynes International Festival Central in Campbell Park marking the start of a brand new film festival.

Vagabond brings a new cultural dimension to this unique city, taking its roving cinema to 5 locations in Milton Keynes: Cinema Dome, MK Gallery, Floating Cinema, 12th street & centre: MK

Bringing a feast of film to families and film fans alike.

Tim Searle: A talk with pictures, lots of animated clips and hopefully some laughs. Saturday 28th July 2pm DOME CINEMA, CAMPBELL PARK
Milton Keynes resident Tim Searle currently Executive Producer of CBBC Animation, will take us on whirlwind tour of his life in animation.
Tim is best known for Have I got for News for You, 2DTV, I am not an Animal and most recently Mr Bean and Danger Mouse.

Neil Brand: Silent Film for Kids  Sunday 29th July 2pm DOME CINEMA, CAMPBELL PARK
‘Recognised as the doyen of silent film pianists, Neil Brand has been accompanying silent films for nearly 30 years and is considered to be one of the finest exponents of improvised silent film accompaniment in the world.’

Vagabond is making a film with the people of Milton Keynes which will premiere at the festival on Friday 27th July
